Health, Safety and Wellbeing
The health, safety and wellbeing of our school community (both children and staff) is important to us. We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and you can view our Safeguarding (incorporating Child Protection) policy here. If you have concerns about a child, you can approach our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr Jon Hughes, jonathanhughes@downsinf.brighton-hove.sch.uk. Out of school hours please contact Front Door For Families. If your concern is about a member of staff, please contact the Headteacher or the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer). Please note that all these routes of reporting are available even if school is closed.
Resources to help you help you and your child
We know this period of Covid recovery is a challenging time for many families. You may be worried about the wellbeing of family members, concerned about money or work, or juggling home-working with your child(ren) at home too. These resources from our PSHE lead may be of help. If you are struggling with anything, please call the school.
